“I started playing soccer when I was four years old, and at 7, I played GK for the first time. Even as a child, my parents noticed my quick reflexes and love for soccer, so I have stuck with goalkeeping since. During my time playing academy soccer in Germany, I experienced multiple injuries. After graduating high school, I wanted to continue playing soccer while receiving a good education, which led me to the United States. Back home, my team and I won several trophies, including the Northern States Championship. In the U.S., I earned awards such as Conference Player of the Week and Academic Team of the Year.”

“I started playing soccer at the age of five and have always appreciated how the sport provides opportunities for self-improvement with every training session and game. I also value the connections and meaningful relationships it fosters. I chose to come to the US to step out of my comfort zone, experience a different culture, and pursue a degree, all while embracing responsibility and independence at a young age.”

McKendree Men’s Soccer Player

“I fell in love with the sport when I started playing properly at 7. When I was younger, I played for professional clubs in England including West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City. A proud achievement in my soccer career was representing my country as a member of the England U18 Schoolboys. I came to America to explore new opportunities and gain a different perspective on soccer, as there are more pathways available here than back home. I am passionate about coaching and enjoy helping players develop, just as I was supported and guided when I was their age.”

“I started playing soccer when I was five years old at my local club and quickly fell in love with the game. Over the years, I had the chance to play and trial with professional clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United. I came to America to continue my soccer career, as there are more opportunities here to reach the professional level. I enjoy coaching and love helping the next generation grow through the experiences I’ve gained.”
